hi all can anyone provide any suggestions; i am looking to buy a laptop but not in any hurry. i can wait as christmas is around the corner hence there will be many deals/offers.
i looked at this deal which is posted today
hotukdeals.com/ite…e=3
for £656 which is quite good however i will not be using all the functionalities/power that this laptop offers hence do not want to pay that much. i simply need it to surf the net, watch videos etc. hence do you think i should buy a 300-400 pound laptop???

also I have got a habit of selling/buying stuff - any ideas of how much value will be retained with this deal a year from now - so by how much will the price have dropped??

I too am buying a laptop for my cousin , she only wants to surf the net really and like you the odd vid .
Im with you on the £400 max for a laptop and I will probabley buy after xmas.
The resale value on pc's is pretty poor, especially laptops as from just general experience they appear to have a short lifespan, not to mention the spec increases rapidly year on year.

several on ebuyer with some damned good specs @£300

Try Bargain Crazy just got am email from them there r some great prices.
