If I were you, go to avforums and read through all 1 million posts, as a price does not make a good TV, read what people say and then choose

I spent a week going through posts and bough a fantastic 32" LCD from advise and reviews from that board, highly recommended if you have the time and patience

wow, great price

wow 40" for that much. but i agree with nrps1 with reading what other say about the tv.

A word of advice on this set is that it does not have an HDMI connection, although it have DVI, VGA and component, which offer broadly similar picture quality.

You do get HDMI-DVI converter with this telly. HDMI is electrically compatible with DVI, so lack of onboard HDMI isn't a problem. Not sure about HDCP though, read discussion here.

so how does that work if i dont have hdmI?

Use analog inputs instead.
