hello all,

this is a result of a similar thread a few hours ago.

basically, i have just got an o2 xda ignito (same as htc touch diamond) which has gps built in.

my g/f has a tomtom one, which came with uk maps on an sd card. this sd card is now spare as i bought her a card with europe maps on it.

can i install the software on my ignito? if so, how do i go about it? i have no idea what version of software the uk maps is based on. nor do i know how to check what version they are.

advice would be very much appreciated.

There is a TomTom 7 out there ripped from HTC Diamond. UK HTC Diamonds don't have that software but another country's have it. You just copy it into your phone and install it. You will need to know the version of map that your old TomTom use. You can use TomTom 6 maps with this. You just copy the voice and map folders to phone's internal storage and you can use it.

]This should sort you out :-)
