Advice on Wireless Cable Router

Could do with some advice on Cable Wireless Routers. My current Linksys (WRT54G2) plays up most days and requires a reset. From searching on the net others have had this problem and the general advice is buy a new one.

Any tips on what is a decent 'cheap' router ? Prefer not to go over £30.

Seen this Linksys (do I want to stick with Linksys??) on Ebuyer for £23 (plus delivery) which seems a reasonable price (old model I assume)

Can anyone advise if the above is worth a go or any other suggestions ?

Any advice much appreciated.

Check to see if Linksys have a firmware update that maybe will fix your problem first, Taking care on version numbers within the model number

Cheers, but checked that, already have the latest version. Tried factory reset too.

Not sure what broadband you are on, but if you are on 20Mb you can upgrade to 30Mb for free, and pay only £30 to upgrade top a new superhub (combined modem router).

My monthly broadband cost also went down from £25 to £18.50 when I went up to 30Mb.

See Virgin web site.
