You'd probably be better putting it on ebay and then letting the bidders decide how much it's worth?

welli would buy canis canem edit off you

thanks but i'd rather sell it as a bundle, that way its less fiddling about

hi
why don't you look for ps2 bundles on ebay and watch them to see what they go for? it might give you a better idea

I wouldn't bother with a reserve and would start it at £50.

The only problem being, you might get bidders who dont want it all, only want parts of it. Selling in a bundle you will always get less than you would selling seperates. However, you have to weigh in the extra hassle of selling it as seperates!

yes thats the thing, i really dont want to be sending multiple parcels and paying numerous fees ect, i thought maybe i'd try an dvert in my local shop window for a start, that eliminates the worry of sending it ect thanks for your help

I'd give you £100 for the lot, but it's probably worth more.

And that's just beacuse i played buzz on my Nieces PS2 on Saturday and want it now.

Where are you located ?
Bargain Pages is quite good for local advertising.

thanks but i think its worth more, buzz is great tho!, yes i t hought friday ad maybe, i can do it online does anyone know if they charge? cos i could split the lot and list them seperately then

If you phone, it's an 0870 number, so that costs, not sure how much off the top of my head.

Or If you do it online, I think it costs £1 per listing.

It is easy to place an ad online with Friday-Ad, I've done it a few times now.

If you list an item for under £53 you don't have to pay a thing, maybe you could try and sell the smaller bits in your bundle on Friday-Ad and the PS2 on Ebay?
I'm not sure how much it costs to place an ad on Friday-Ad for an item worth over £53.

***

Details taken from the Friday-Ad website -

Only 'Private' advertisers can place FREE-ADS.

FREE-ADS in your local edition cannot exceed 20 words in length.

FREE-ADS apply only to the 'Standard' style.

FREE-ADS will not qualify if they are being placed in any of the 'Pets', 'Property To Let' sections or if your advert is offering a business service. Instead, the advert will attract the regular rates for this section.

FREE-ADS can only be placed in your Local Edition (plus the Internet Edition if you wish. Please note you cannot place a FREE-AD 'just' in the Internet Edition as this will incur regular Internet Costings).

The Selling Price of your item must be £53 or less, and must be stated within your advert text.

PLEASE NOTE: If you select 'Featured Ad' your FREE-AD will attract a cost of 95p.

If you have adhered to the above guidelines when trying to place a FREE-AD, but are still having problems, please let us know by e-mailing our support department at [email protected].

thank you purpled much appreciated

yes if i was you i would split it and sell it locally although ebay is your best shot .you can expect around well over 100 pounds just for your buzz and singstar bits .i sold my buzz music quiz used with buzzers 25+ postage on ebay only to buy a slimline ps2 and the buzz big quiz and buzzers for 30 pounds at a bootsale and it was buzz the big quiz i wanted .

don't under estimate the potential money to be made from a bit of time as people will not want the lot and it could knock loads of price .
