Advice/Recommendations on watches please

My son turns 18 in March (I know It’s a while off yet!) and he would like a watch.
Whilst we were on a cruise in the summer he saw a Daniel Wellington watch that he liked. He wants quite a minimalistic looking watch (he already has a citizen eco drive) so I’m looking for a watch with a leather strap & Roman numeral numbers. Ideally I would like to engrave a message on the back.
  • As I don’t know anything about watches I thought I’d ask you knowledgeable lot. Are there better makes than this for My £200 budget (less would be great)

What about something from the casio ediface range, some really nice watches for around £100 amazon.co.uk/s/r…ce+
I've never heard of this brand of watch before, but if you're wanting to buy the above watch you can find it on Thewatchcabin for £109.00
Using online code TWCAFF16 (ends tomorrow) at checkout goes down to £101.37 (only 16 left in stock)

Rotary watches in that price range are made by Rotary which are owned by a Chinese holding company, it will have a Chinese or Japanese movement and be assembled in Japan or China. Move that likely completely Chinese.

Fair point, do you have a better alternative perhaps?
