???:w00t:

Get 2 aerials from argos for 16.59 quid each, comes with all the stuff you need.
Then get someone to fit them into loft as they are very powerful aerials and dont need to be outside
Should only take an hour to do tops.
Got 2 of these in my loft, great signal from them.

]argos

Receive all TV signals including Freeview in strong to medium reception areas.

Incorporates a PCB Balun improved digital performance and 8 element reflector for anti ghosting.

Complete with 10m of coaxial cable, fixing kit, all required connectors and instructions.

Digital compatible.
Only good if you live in a good reception area, no good for us in the Swindon area

Thank you:-D

I used to be an aerial rigger they used to charge around £136 for a wide band high gain aerial thats needed if your not near a transmitter else cheapo will do with booster
as with the extra points your better off getting your magic wallet out when they get there as they dont get paid much .. if your using small company ..

as with putting it in the loft thats fine if you know the direction running it into a distribution amp before going to main tv then using that to run all 3 tvs

or if you are near to transmitter buy a 1403 splitter this is just a box you wire aerial into it and it has 3 outputs you wire into not power points required a 1402 will give you 2

bought a new tv with built in freeview but i have sky and never used a tv aerial , so needed aerial to access freeview
bit shocked when i heard next door neighbour paid £100 to get one digital aerial and linked to one tv
thought it was a bit steep so did it myself , had an old aerial in the loft , bought cable , clips ,connectors / 4 way amplifier online from ebay for about £40 and linked it to 3 tvs in the house.now have sky in 3 rooms (same channel on all )
i am by no means handy but all instructions on net and ebay seller skymadesimple was very helpful
didn't need
