Affordable 1920x1080 laptop with 120GB SSD for around £500 whilst skimping on everything else?

I'm in the market for a particular type of laptop with above 1368x768 res and hd replaced with a small SSD. I'm willing to cut corners on the other specs so i3 or similar, integrated GFX, no optical drive, USB3, 4GB RAM as a minimum.

All deals posted of True HD laptops include components like Bluray, dedicated Graphics and high specs all round which bumps the price up somewhat. Most mainstream laptop deals include minor permutations with the 1368x768 res fixed and I'm can't help but think that there's a market for this type of laptop where the focal point is the screen.

The closest I found is this
3xs.scan.co.uk/con…40m

Problem is they won't let me replace the HD with a SSD or do away with integrated graphics and DVDRW.

For instance the sony vaio is at argos for 429.99 its 15.5 inches not 14 like title says.
Buy an ssd put it in and there you go.

Theres tonnes about. You can add ram and ssd to anything.

i saw the laptop but nowhere do i see the fact its 1080p
Im bad, with the mentioning of 1024 * 768 it through me.
He wants 1080p. Its harder to get than 'true'.

New dell one with 1080p I5 goes for 545 so there must be some out there cheaper.

Ill look later
Did you manage to find such a laptop? Trying to find something similar and surprised that I cannot see a single laptop with 1920x1080 resolution which is kind of affordable?
Woolworths had this

woolworths.co.uk/len…250

OOS just now but check around, think ebuyer had same spec for £499, cheap SSD and off you go.

edit - ebuyer.com/644…651 - I3 version of the same laptop
