Again I call upon you guys for some wise advice.

I really need a hand for my uni video assignment.

I have my footage etc etc but there is one problem. Sony Vegas Pro doesn't like .mov files.

I filmed my stuff on a sony hdv and then imported it into finaql cut pro on a mac. This meant my files were .mov files.

I have format factory, but it's being very tempromental. and if I convert to avi, it shortens the clip and only gives sound sometimes.

Is this because of the hd quality?

    Please, what am I missing?

    All help much appreciated.
    Thank you.

I really do not wanna use the mac
I only have windows at home, mac means treking to uni and using software/opperating system I really cannot get to grips with.

But If i cannot do it this way, then I'll have to pop in. It is a last resort though.

How big are the filesizes? if you can host it I'll convert it for you, failing that see if you can find a copy movavi video suite hanging around.

    Vid one - 431 mb
    Vid two - 146mb
    Vid Three - 172mb
    Vid Four - 0.98 gig
    Vid 5 - 125 mb
    Vid 6 - 12.5mb
    Vid 7 - 52.8mb

    Is that do-able?
