Airline Carry on allowences

I have been looking for a carry on bag for when i travel however I have noticed there isnt a standard carry on bag size for when you travel onboard an aircraft therefore it doesnt help when you are looking around for the correct size bag and some on Ebay say carry on bag but wouldnt do the job with some airlines as they would be oversized.

Therefore I have compiled a list which is upto date see below.

Hope this help some people in the same situation.
    Ryanair: 55 x 40 x 20 cm
    Easyjet: 55 x 40 x 20 cm
    Flybe: 50 x 35 x 23 cm
    Aer Lingus 22 x 35 x 45 cm
    British Airways: 56 x 45 x 25 cm
    Jet2 50 x 38 x 26 cm
    Air Berlin 55 x 40 x 20 cm
    bmi baby 55 x 40 x 20 cm
    Bmi 55 x 40 x 23cm
    Aer Lingus 22 x 35 x 45 cm
    Virgin 23 x 36 x 56cm
    Continental Airlines 35 x 22 x 55cm

Do you also know what the carry on weight limits are for these? I Think ryanair is 10kg.
