Active Noise Cancellation for immersive sound.
Transparency mode for hearing what’s happening around you.
A customisable fit for all-day comfort.
Magic like you’ve never heard.
Comfort
Arrival of the fittest.
We refined the details of comfort, creating a new class of in-ear headphones with a customisable fit that forms an exceptional seal for Active Noise Cancellation. You’ll feel your music, not your headphones.
Choose from three sizes of soft, flexible silicone tips that click into place.
These internally tapered tips conform to your ear shape, keeping AirPods Pro secure. And with vents helping to equalise pressure, you feel like there’s nothing in your ears.
Active Noise Cancellation
Sound that cuts out the noise.
AirPods Pro are the only in-ear headphones with Active Noise Cancellation that continuously adapts to the geometry of your ear and the fit of the ear tips — blocking out the world so you can focus on what you’re listening to.
An outward-facing microphone detects external sound.
AirPods Pro then counter it with equal anti-noise, cancelling the external sound before you hear it.
An inward-facing microphone listens inside your ear for unwanted sound, which is also eliminated with anti-noise.
Noise cancellation is continuously adjusted at 200 times per second for truly immersive sound, so you’re fully tuned in to your music, podcasts and calls.
Want to hear what’s happening around you? Just press and hold the force sensor on the stem to jump between Active Noise Cancellation and Transparency mode — which lets outside sound in, and allows things to sound and feel natural when you’re talking to people nearby.
Audio quality
Everything you hear is unheard of.
Enjoy superior sound quality with Adaptive EQ, which automatically tunes music to the shape of your ear for a rich, consistent listening experience.
An inward-facing microphone hears sound as you do. AirPods Pro then fine-tune the audio by adjusting the mid and low frequencies.
Powerful bass is delivered by a custom-built high-excursion, low-distortion speaker driver.
The amplifier powers the speaker driver to remove background noise and works with the H1 chip to control listening levels.
A super-efficient high dynamic range amplifier produces pure, incredibly clear sound while also extending battery life
Performance and design
A chip with serious clout.
Tech-packed yet compact, AirPods Pro are built around our System in Package design — featuring the H1 chip that powers everything from sound to Siri.
The Apple-designed H1 chip employs 10 audio cores, creating incredibly low audio processing latency that enables real-time noise cancellation.
The System in Package design is meticulously arranged, with the placement of each component based on the form of the human ear — maximising comfort, fit and stability.
Use the force sensor to easily control music and calls, and switch between Active Noise Cancellation and Transparency mode.
Designed to keep up with you, AirPods Pro are sweat and water resistant,
1 and they feature an expanded mesh microphone port that improves call clarity in windy locations.
Battery
Charge wirelessly.
Use tirelessly.
The Wireless Charging Case delivers more than 24 hours of battery life to keep you and your AirPods Pro on the go. And it’s compatible with Qi-certified chargers.
More than24hrsof listening time with multiple additional charges in the case.
Up to4.5hrsof listening time on one charge
Around1hrof listening time on only 5 minutes of charging.

It’s basically apple saying the existing way this is done means we have to pay others to use patents so let’s go and design our own one and charge customers rip off prices for the privilege, we can tell them we spent millions on this and they will think they are getting a good deal when in fact it’s the same or little better than existing kit already on the market.
Why do you think apple designs and changes all its sockets to something different to other standards, it isn’t because standard sockets aren’t suitable it’s because they make money when their patented adapters are used and bought. (edited)
Have you tried them out yet ?
- People who have never used them, nor standard Airpods, and likely any other Apple gear.
The Sony WH-1000XM3's are considered by many to be the best noise cancelling headphones available.

Perhaps consider educating yourself on the subject before posting such uninformed comments.
A Blu-Ray only costs 10p to make, so latest releases should be 20p tops rite?
Always the people who have never had the items
Why are you making comparison with in earphones to over ear headphones, completely different league
With a film on blue ray you are paying for film which cost tens of millions to make. A blue ray disc can be bought for about £0.50
Sent from an iPhone (edited)
I'm not suggesting that AirPods are good value or that anyone should buy them... but in fairness, Apple will have spent tens if not hundreds of millions of pounds developing the AirPod Pro.
Yep people who are being critical probably don’t even own an Apple device because they can’t afford it - stick with your Korean Apple copies - Apple will have knocked it out of the park with these trust me
Got a 6s which I’ve had from new and was going to buy a new one but apple didn’t put 5g in its most recent handset (the one thing most people wanted), so holding off till next year now when it’ll have 5g.
We’ll reserve judgment until you try these
I suggest you didn’t set them up properly as the volume is deafening when maxed up. Again the iPhone Bluetooth settings for the AirPods pro run a test to check the seal - again you won’t have that as you’re using a foreign phone - try in store with an iPhone and you will be amazed
Nope nor am I likely to or would want to.....
I'm fairly sure you can get something that provides equal if not better sound for less money because it doesn't say apple on it...
Sony hahahaha good one
I agree as I compared the Sony to the Bose but Sony won overalll - they are the best
Incredible comment as though you have woken from a comma last ooh bg 10 years. Sony WH-1000XM3 have the highest rated and best noise cancelling of any headphones. I personally have the new Bose 700 which are also very good, but sound quality wise, you cant beat the Sony's at £300.
The new Bowers and Wilkins Px7 should sound better but the noise cancelling will not match the Sony.
I would recommend not making silly comments which illustrate your complete lack of knowledge.
Hahahaha you clearly have no idea what you are talking about. I'm not an audiophile but Sony are widely regarded as one of the best in the audio industry. Apple are certainly not.
£249 for hairdryer earphones!
At least they ripped off the UK consumer less than with the iPhone 11. $249 in USD and £249 in GBP better than $699/£729
Sony WF-1000XM3 should be compred to these, but I agree, they should not be compared. I will reserve judgement until these are releases, but based in past apple products, just seem over priced.
I'm not.
Should be £75 tops. These things cost only about £30 to make.
With Airpods you are paying for an excellent UX and custom chip R&D which cost tens of millions to develop.
Still a waste of money, I have a £35 pair of ear buds (not an apple rip off version) which have had noise cancelling ages ago and run on Bluetooth 5.0.
I fail to see what improvement justifies a £215 price difference apart from the logo of course.
I’m writing this on an iPhone and I agree these are a massive rip off.
