ANC think I’ll stick to checking out Bose & Sony as these are crazy prices for what they are

In before all the idiots whinging they’re overpriced and posting cheap knock-offs from Wish and AliExpress.

Guess what pumpkin, The reason people use this site and keyword searches/alerts is to save money on the actual products they’re looking for! Not buy a cheaper ‘alternative’.

That worries me too. Do you know how the batteries fair on the older model?

Not sure about facts but people with original AirPods seem to moan about the battery life after 2 years. I have noted that the battery used in these AirPods is slightly different from a hardware point. It appears encased in metal like in Apple Watch series 5 40mm which allows more capacity to be crammed in a smaller area. Will be interesting to see a tear down video on these

Yeah that's the thing, there'll be a new pair out by then!

Thanks for heads up, all rumours were true, those tiny tiny batteries worry me, the degradation will be huge in a very short space of time

Hmm, they look more ugly than the previous ones. Then again, I do like the spec...

Annoyingly just bought two pairs of gen 2 airpods for christmas presents. (edited)

Already low with all the ebay codes going off. I think £107 is the cheapest I saw a few weeks ago.

All the rumours about these were correct though except that it’s gonna come in like 8 different colours. Original AirPods unfortunately don’t stay in my ears if I walk at fast pace or workout. These would be a lot better and also ANC but then again the price tag is pretty steep.

How can one try these before listening? I asked in John Lewis a while ago if they had a pair of the old style to try out and they didn't.

That’s interesting £45 per airpod for a new battery. £90 then for what would feel like a new pair. Makes it seem a little more worthwhile

Yeah £90 every 2 years for a battery refresh (that’s if you don’t decide to upgrade to future AirPods) seems a small price to pay compared to a new set
