nice idea, but i dont like the thought of catching the bus with 2 kids and 4 suite cases and travelling.

I always just leave the car at home , and then take a taxi to the airport. Should be cheaper and maybe easier

I think OP wants to arrive right outside the terminal and not have to walk with family

Drop Wife, kids and luggage at Airport, tell them to go to Costa, you park nearby, stroll back and check in. Repeat on return leg.
Given the number of stories about private airport parking I probably wouldn't risk anything but the official one for a few quid saving.
The only exception my be Purple Parking, which I have used many times at HRow. They quote Doncaster as £57/week meet & greet or £62 in their secure carpark next door.

So for comparison a taxi would cost £75-80 return, and driving your own car and parking would cost £62 +fuel.

I'd opt for taxi myself..

That’s ok until the locals brick your car, happening a lot in areas near airports as locals are banding together to be vigilantes and take action as councils don’t care.

Personally I think they should just the council to permit the areas.
Always get a friend or family member to get a lift to the airport, most cars are for 5 people , although need to be big boot for 4 cases, but most likely doable, but 62£ seems a good price, I assume a week?

Yeah £20 extra without walk, if it was me I would walk, bit of excercise although family might be too stressful (it might rain too haha)

What I also like about this idea is your given 42£ to a normal citizen and not company that bring in a fortune
