Not sure about cheapest but Aldi's foil is great

30m length price is the same in both stores - £2.09.

Feel the Lidl one is better as it tends to feel a bit more thicker, tends to keep in shape around items better and tends not to leak as much as Aldi's.

They both also do 'wrapping' version, not sure of the price of that.

Lidl foil is definitely a lot thicker, it's the only one I'll buy

I find that foil is cheapest at poundland. Not sure if it safe mind but heh, you cant hide under that tin foil hat forever. X)

Been using Lidl's, good quality and lasts for ages.

Update. prices as of 27 Jan.

Lidl's foil has gone up to £2.19.
Aldi's is still £2.09

But Lidl's foil is still the best.

Wrapping foil is 65p for 20m in Lidl's at present. This stuff can be used as a lining in a drip tray, say for bacon etc.
