hi I've bought from them many times. the key is to look at reviews of the products you want. anything with photos etc I will buy from but ones with no reviews I tend to stay clear. I love the site. not sure about the coupons though

bought hoards of items of the site. Not for items needed within a week mind you, bought clothes, computer bits, toys etc. Had no issues, you will find they are the same factories that make the items that get sold over here but without the bells and whistles.

Ali's a market place like Ebay, you need to research the sellers not the site. Most are good, some are iffy and the odd one or two are to be avoided.

Im looking to get the ixaomi gamepad controller think this seller will accept coupons will wait before ordering gearbest have it for same price now.

I use them for electronic components. As stated earlier check out seller reviews and feedback etc. Only once my parts did not arrive and was fully refunded.

Not sure how the coupons thing works. They are cheap, but slow for delivery, which is ok. My issue is if something goes wrong after 15 days. Then you have a problem. I only spend what I am also prepared to lose, ie. about £10. Reviewers are only able to write with 30 days. So no product has a long term review. I have had £70 equipment break down and have had to write it off, as there is no consumer protection. Guarantee is 30 days only. I have bought many items from AE, and I'd say 95% it's been fine

slow delivery (most of the time it is despatch delays that cause it, the stuff seems to make it from china post office to my door in about six days - but for some reason sellers there think it is acceptable to wait ten days to send it out).

thankfully theres a straighforward pain free refund system for non delivered goods so thats a plus.

usually quite cheap but ive found currency rates are driving prices up a little lately

I bought a Wii2HDMI and still waiting to receive despite being stated as "Delivered". I've purchased from Aliexpress before and I got my stuff so I kinda trust them.

The refund system is somewhat strange to work with. I opted in to get a refund for an item I never got and the staff member said I need "documents" to prove.

Do they accept PayPal can find it anywhere

Returns/Refunds can be awkward, it also depends on how trustworthy the seller is; 95% of the stuff I have bought has been fine, and the stuff that hasnt has mostly been refunded without question. I have had two sellers cause issues, one refused to admit the description was wrong and AE upheld it initially, even though I sent a screenshot of the incorrect description, and another insisted I return the goods for testing - which I did....

They then sat in customs for 6 months waiting to be collected, and were then eventually returned to me - no refund.

Overall, I trust AE more than I trust Ebay and/or PayPal, I wont use either of them ever again.
