I'm looking at the above and want to know if it is possible to store large mkv file sizes (over 4Gb) using NTFS on an SD card. I then want to know if there is an app to play them.

Is there anyone out there that owns this and does the above?

Unless I am missing something why would you bother putting an MKV file on a 8" tablet? Surely you'd be better off compressing it?

In regards to apps, I can answer that... Use VLC it'll pretty much play any video format you can chuck at it.

I've already got the mkv files. I was looking to be lazy. VLC is fine. Any recommended programs to compress. It's a long time and I think I used Handbrake in the past.

Ha, I like your honesty :-) Handbrake is what I would use as well to compress the files.
