Alton Towers Hotel or Splash Landings Hotel?

I am booking a break at Alton Towers and can't decide which hotel to go for. Which is better Alton Towers or Splash?

Splash Landings if you have little kids. Mine loved it there.

Splash landings is great for kids, if you are a couple going on your own i would recommend the alton towers hotel

It is just me and my boyfriend. I have heard that the rooms in Alton are bigger than Splash? Not sure if that is true.

Alton has a brilliant Sonic the Hedgehog themed room - one night is £375............... maybe not then!

If we get time, we might visit the waterpark at Splash. However, it is open the same time as the park which isn't helpful as we will have to choose one or the other.

Yep - Towers if not with kids. The Splash hotel rooms are themed for kids benefit really, bunks, etc.

Do you only have 1 days access? Could you not go to the main park 1 day, Splash the next morning?

You'll only need a couple of hours in Splash to be fair.

Edit= dupe

Two days in the park and one night so ideally, we would need to visit splash on the first day so we might go on the rides in the morning, check in at 3pm and then go to the pool til 5pm. However, it seems quite pricey at £14 per person!

Our access to Splash was included I think ... pretty sure it was.

That isn't mentioned on the website. I am booking tomorrow so I will ask then.

Thanks
