Aluminium ducting

I have a 120mm female connection that I need to connect to a 100mm female connection. my question is can I make the 100mm aluminium ducting larger to accommodate the 120mm.

either by adding tape to the end
or
by stretching the pipe out?.

reason being is I can't appear to find a 120mm to 100mm reducer so I'm trying to use the easiest/best solution.

thanks

Use anything you want assuming the anything can physically and chemically withstand whatever material and pressure that is conveyed by the ducting.

Ducting is for cooker hood extractor. So just really trying to make a seal. Not much room in there hence looking for option/ correct tape etc.

How …How abouthttps://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Round-Duct-Reduction-for-Extractor-Hood-120mm-100mm-Ducting-Pipe-Reducer-ROK-/323124024394or https://www.amazon.co.uk/Reducer-Connector-Diameter-Ventilation-Universal/dp/B00N1ZTAMU

I did see this as my only option but I haven't got much room so I'm not sure this will fit.
Can I use this to help connect it up?
