Am I too late with my EE PAC code?

I bought a LIFE Mobile sim last week but when it turned up they could not activate it so they sent out another sim. I got that yesterday, which works fine but it does mean that I put in a port request of my EE number transfer 2 days later than anticipated.

My EE PAC code expires on 16.10.2016, this Sunday. I had put in a port request to Life mobile yesterday at just before 2pm and I have received email and text confirmation from them that the port will happen within 2 working days.

As my PAC code runs out on Sunday, will I be ok as it seems to indicate that as long as you submit the port request before the PAC end date you will be fine. Or does the actual port date have to be before the PAC end date?

I think the date is when you have to give the PAC to the new provider by. However, I gave mine to Life 3 days ago and my 'old' sim is still active...

The port date has to be before the pac expires or the port will fail. And, unless things have changed, no ports go through at weekends, the networks only open their servers to each other on week days.

I think you'd need to call on Monday and get a new pac. . .

My PAC expiry date is also tomorrow. My current provider told me today that it will probably complete on Monday and that I don't need a new code. Here's hoping...

PAC codes only need to be valid at the point of use, not at port completion.
Hand it to your new provider today and you'll be fine. You can probably the port online. You can with the main networks. Just follow the links in your online account

Update. My port took place successfully first thing this morning so the port completed within 2 business days as life mobile promised.

My PAC expired yesterday so as long as you give your PAC to your new provider before the PAC end date, you are fine.
