I'm hoping someone might have some ideas I'm fresh out currently and dreading having to speak to Amazon customer services 😔

so old router has rubbish WiFi and my devices would regularly disconnect so I bought a 3 pack of BT Whole Home WiFi devices and my WiFi signal is now brilliant! except none of my Amazon devices will connect to the new WiFi I've tried in no particular order:

  • Restarting my Router
  • Restarting the BT Mesh devices
  • restarting my phone
  • restarting the Alexa devices (Flex & Echo)
  • wiping Alexa app on my phone
  • changing the SSID and passphrase of the network
  • changing the security of my network even made it open and that didn't work
  • deleting Amazon saved WiFi passwords on the website
  • factory resetting my devices

I then tried to connect the echo and flex back to my old router which now doesn't work either every other device I own is connecting flawlessly to the new mesh network (android phone, both Roku, my kindle and Kindle fire, laptop etc.) it's bizzare

I've had this happen once before and the only solution was Amazon replaced the device...

Thanks for any ideas
