Amazon Mispricing

Found 5th Sep 2008
Earlier today (prior to getting opportunity to post it on here as a new deal!), I came across an item on Amazon (not marketplace) which was obviously mispriced at £12.97 instead of RRP of £149.99. They took my payment and sent confirmation email that item would be sent upon release in October. It seems they've now realised their error and the item is now listed at £112.49 (but I've not heard anything YET from them).

Anyone know if they're likely to try and wriggle out of it? I'm just concerned that as I've got my credit card attached to my account, they may just try and take the difference (although as they've already accepted my payment and sent confirmation, that'd be a bit naughty).

Cheers

Yeah they will try and get out of it. If they have taken your money you might get it, but if they havent they will just email you and tell you it was a misprice. They have a get out clause in the small print about obvious misprices. They wont JUST TAKE THE HIGHER AMOUNT THOUGH.
wHAT DID YOU BUY, i'M VERY CURIOUS.

Didn't happen to hit the caps button by accident half way through there did ya? lol
But I agree, they won't take more money without your permission.
You'll either get it for £12.97 or receive an email telling you that you wont get it at all due to mispricing.
Yeah I did. And I never notice until its too late.
Wonder what he might be getting.

Amazon are very good at picking up there miss-prices so I don't think you will get it. However if you don't get it use the contact us button and complain and 9 times out of 10 they say sorry but have a £5 gift voucher.

You can buy this from Amazon market place brand new for 5.54 delivered!!! I hope they will send the 21 disk set and not just 1 disc!!! What do you people think?
I wouldn't bother as Quantum of Solace is out in a couple of months, meaning ine May/June it'll be out on DVD. so another boxset will be released containing Quantum, and this one will be available for £20.
not released for another month or so

doubt u'll get it
back on again at £13.97...
Seems a bargain - ordered + rep'd.
Hopefully they might honour it.
They have a price promise on preorders meaning that they should not bother you about it.
Ordered as well but don't expect it at this price. Weird though only £1.24 for First Class delivery!

Item(s) Subtotal: £11.89
Postage & Packing: £1.24
-----
Total Before VAT: £13.13
VAT: £2.30
-----
Total: £15.43

Somehow being supplied by Amazon EU:?
It's always Amazon EU S.a.r.L.when buying with Amazon direct.
Funny about them making us stump for 1st class though (maybe because it's a pre-order?)
