amazon parcel not received from china

i ordered a remote control car from Amazon and didn't realize at the time it was from a seller in China , amazon.co.uk/gp/…th=
The item never had a tracking number but marked as posted on my account but 5 weeks on the item has still not been received and the reviews from other Amazon members is terrible , all saying the same thing about the seller . i have filled a refund with the seller but they have never replied
What are my rights , Is it Amazons responsibility to reimburse me even thou it was not sold by them .

I had the same problem with some unicorn slippers that were coming from China and Amazon refunded me

Contact Amazon and they'll sort out a refund for you.

We to ordered screen covers with a tablet. Tablet came via prime next day but screen covers took 5 weeks. We never noticed they were shipping from China.

It can easily take weeks from China so wait a little while longer then contact amazon

OP has already waited 5 weeks.

I'd contact Amazon immediately and report it as being not rec'd to start the refund process, which I think can take 5-7 days, IF it does show up simply cancel the refund request.

Yea already over the delivery date and if you clicked the link and read the reviews im not alone , i think Amazon should highlight the fact the seller is based in China , i know its there if you click the seller information but i mean proper inform buyers before they complete the order that where it is coming from .

i might be wrong here, but if its an Amazon shop and under their shop title it says "fulfilled by Amazon" then you have the same refund guarantee as if you were buying from amazon themselves ?
Amazon customer service is second to none

Your covered by the a to Z guarantee, contact Amazon, did you contact the seller through Amazon? I think they'll contact the seller again but eventually they'll just refund you

There should have been an estimated delivery time - for Chinese sellers it is usually 2-6 weeks. If you havent had it by week 7 then contact Amazon.

A lot of people dont check delivery times - just buy the cheapest option, then complain when they realise they have to wait. My wife sells scarves on Amazon; a Chinese seller with the same stock started a few days later and gets all the sales, even though they are only £2 cheaper and they take 4-6 weeks to arrive (we post out the same day/next working day).

With items worth more than £14, you may also get a demand for tax - plus a ~£10-£12 "handling fee". This is pot luck though, I had a demand because something was 40p over - due to currency fluctuations - and a £180 item with nothing to pay.

Amazon are great with that, you're covered, just get in touch with them.
