Amazon Prime late delivery

Ordered a monitor from Amazon (Ive got Prime atm because I forgot to cancel it) on Wednesday night (8th) which was supposed to be delivered to my work on Friday via 'one day delivery' with Hermes. It wasnt delivered yesterday and Ive just had notification that they tried to deliver it today (?!) and will now have to wait 24hrs from Monday 13th.

Am I likely to get anything from complaining to Amazon about this?

In my experience, if you complain about a late prime delivery they add a extra months prime to your account.

Yes. Just go on the chat option. Free months prime, £3 / £5 credit. Maybe something else.

Always worth complaining though

Give it a go nothing to lose, either e mail customer service or live chat.
Amazon Customer service not what it used to be but as already stated usually give a months free Prime.

I always get a free month when i complain. I love when my deliveries come late lol

As above: typically Prime membership will be extended by one month with no additional charge.

Hermes are totally useless at delivering anything.

Contacted Amazon via chat. Amazon have filled out a complaint on my behalf to Hermes. They were unable to reach Hermes to contact them directly when I was on hold. Hmmm.

Yes, got an extra month free.

Seems strange that Amazon should complain "on your behalf" as Amazon is the courier's customer = Amazon should complain that Amazon's delivery order was not fullfilled, including that Amazon has alientated an Amazon customer as a result.
