hey all 2 days ago i was on Paypal website looking through promotions and spotted amazon slots so went onto the website deposited £10 and £20 i got a little lucky and bored to cashed out £90 but now there asking for identification a copy of passport or driving licence sent to them via email
can anyone advise on this as i really dont want to do this spoke to paypal but they aint no help at all

Quite common, they're happy to take your money but the last thing they want is to pay anything out so make it as hard as they can. Unfortunately it's a matter of balancing the fact that you don't want to send id versus wanting them to honour your winnings.

its mad i have been with casino sites all over and never had this problem till now what gets me like you said happy to take you money with ID but want your ID so you can withdrawal your money. is it safe i keep getting a ringing in my head about identy froud

What you can do is you can blackout part of any numbers that you have on your Driving License or Passport, it's also common to be asked for copies of the front and back of any Credit Debit cards that you have used (I usually black out the last 4 digits and completely cover the CVV number) which is perfectly acceptable

All gambling sites need to verify ID before you withdraw.

I've tried a few and they all do. Nothing odd.

Funny that, I have quite a few accounts (the normal high street ones) and I have never been asked. Maybe it’s a new rule for new accounts

mybe i have never been asked until now spoke to my friends and they say they been asked all the time
