Anyone had this before? Package coming from Amazon today. Get email saying will be delivered and look on app for time. Says this afternoon. Next thing, get email saying package was undeliverable, it'll be returned to warehouse and I will get a refund. What's happened? Van broken down? Who knows? But why can't they just deliver it tomorrow?

    More often than not it’s Hermes losing the item.


    Can’t remember the last time Hermes delivers an Amazon parcel to us, it’s usually simple damage or damage from another parcel leaking on to yours.

    Had this buying a Christmas tree last year. The driver forgot to load it on his vehicle. They sent me a refund automatically and it came the next day too. Contacted them and the let me keep it

    I had this the other day with Budweiser, it was damaged in transit apparently When I complained they paid fior replacements (edited)

    Normally occurs when the courier has damaged it beyond a normal dent in the box etc.

    I had one with parcel force a few weeks ago and it said they were unable to deliver it as the delivery person couldn’t find my address. I live on a major A road in London and the postcode pretty much centres on my house. I emailed them and said that was the most pathetic excuse for non-delivery I’d ever seen, especially considering they are basically Royal Mail! Got an auto reply that was about it

    I ordered a hard-to-find Amiibo [Nintendo figurine] a few years ago from Amazon Spain, and I think that's what happened to my order I was sad/gutted. There was nothing they could do about it apparently, it couldn't be stopped getting returned all that way! Well they gave me like a €5 credit to say sorry, and it became available again, which got delivered ok to me 2nd time I felt sure the reason it wasn't delivered 1st time was because it said United Kingdom in Spanish on the address "Reino Unido." All's well that ends well (edited)

    I think Amazon disabled their email support a while ago, moving to live chat and calling only.
