Amazon Warehouse returns

I bought a TV from Amazon Warehouse after reading that Amazon returns policy was excellent.

I want to send it back but the only option I get for returning is "I'll send and pay", which says Amazon will refund up to £3.99 of the costs. It's going to cost me more than that, and arranging my own courier is a massive pain. I've return small items in the past and I've had various options of returning.

Is this normal? Is there any way round it?

Tell them you want them to come and collect it via DPD or Yodel.
I thought they have always charged for returns without a valid reason (e.g faulty)

why are you sending it back?
You should pay for the return if just unwanted.
But if you do a live chat I'm sure they will assist you as they're service is TOO good.

I think it's faulty - that was the option I chose anyway. If it's not faulty then it's rubbish!

I'll do a live chat and see what they say.
Hi

How did this story end up? Did the chat solve the collection problems? I think I'm going though something similar right now. Thanks
