Hi, I am about to order a TV from amazon. If I get unlucky and get a bad egg how easy is it to return to them. Anyone with experience? Do you also need to check the product when the delivery guy drops it off?

Whenever I sign for delivery I also write "unchecked" next to my signature. Don't know about Amazon returns, as I've never had to do it.

Yeap, I've returned a 32" TV in the past - no problems with their service - collected it and a new TV sent. I think I've returned a cinema system as well as I felt that it didn't have some of the functions I thought it had - no problems there either.

A friend of mine ordered a tv about a month ago, after getting it out of the box there was a crack in the screen. She contacted Amazon, a new tv was sent out and the old picked up within a few days, so from her point of view they reacted really well.

Amazon have a excellent customer service you shouldn't have a problem returning it.

I'll third this. I've had to send two 42" LCD's back and the service has been exceptional both times.
