AMD Ryzen™ 5 3500U OR AMD Ryzen™ 3 3300U

Posted 3rd Jun
On the hunt for a laptop for the other half as she's going to be working from home till September. She's able to get Unidays discount 35% from HP.

There is two laptops in mind only difference is the processor. The laptop will be used for:
- word processing
- Youtube
- Video calls
- Internet browsing

The two laptops are:
- HP 14-dk0011na Full-HD Laptop Ryzen™ 5 (£420)
- HP Pavilion 15-cw1017na Full-HD Touchscreen Laptop Ryzen™ 3 (£460)

Appreciate any advice.

The 14” is more portable, more powerful and cheaper.
The 15” has a larger screen designed to gather finger prints.
For working at home I’d much rather have a more powerful machine and use an external screen. Says me sitting here with 2 24” monitors and a 15” USB-C screen from a Lenovo x260 laptop.
