Amsterdam, Netherlands to Clisson, France

Found 14th Mar 2009
Hello,

I will be attending Hellfest in Clisson, France, and will be in Amsterdam prior to the event. Can anyone help me with finding a way to get from one way to the other?

And secondly, how long will it be? I catch a flight the next day from London in the morning, so I have to go from Clisson to probably Amsterdam, then to London to catch my flight to New York.

European train time tool. ]HERE

Amsterdam to Clisson about 9 hours.
Do you have to go back to Amsterdam? If not the go Clisson to Paris then Eurostar to London. If you do have to go back to Amsterdam then you could fly or get the train to Lille then catch the Eurostar to London.

The reason I'd want to go back to Amsterdam is to get all our bags. We're going to need them for America. Maybe I can leave them somewhere in Clisson?

Could you explain the easiest way to get from Amsterdam to Clisson? Please be a little specific in terms of mode of transportation, and a website I can check out the prices, etc Never been to Europe. Thanks for the help.

Are wondering why your post is missing? It maybe because you posted a link in your post. You cant post links yet as your too new.

I quoted your reply. Screwed something up. It's happened before I think. Well what I was saying is I what to go to Amsterdam because all my bags for America will be there, unless I can leave them somewhere in Clisson? Secondly, could you be specific in how to get to Clisson from Amsterdam. Possibly some links as well I can check out for prices etc. Thank you.

EDIT: Can I just use Eurorail to go direct from Amsterdam to Clisson? Cheapest and easiest?

Just use the link putting in your travel details and it will tell you the details and times of the trains and which run the train. The Train basically goes Amsterdam to Paris where you change to Nantes then change for Clisson.
As for tickets yes you can buy a 'Eurail Benelux - France Pass' ticket but as its valid for a minimum of 4 days and you will only need it for 2 this may not be the cheapest option.

As for leaving your bags at Clisson I don't know as have never been there. You may be ables to leave your bags in storage at Nantes. I have noticed that Air France fly from Nantes to London Heathrow if thats more useful.

I've been quoted eurostar to paris $170 and then paris to clisson $140. that seems quite expensive?
