I have an Android dual sim phone and I cannot use this when I plug this into my car Android Auto.
Basically, you cannot make outgoing calls because the Android Auto does not recognise which sim you want to make the call off. The only way to make the call is from the phone, which you shouldn't do if you are driving.
I am not sure if this is the same with Apple Carplay.
I think the same issue is there even if the phone is just connected to the car with Bluetooth. If you connect only with Bluetooth, then you cant use Google Maps, Spotify, TuneIn etc in the same way.
Has anyone had this issue and does anyone know if there is a work-around for it?
