    Any camcorder advice?? Which one?

I am in the market for a camcorder i recently got my hands on Final Cut Pro so i want to start making small films and get into editing using final cut.

I have done some research on this have come across the Canon hr10 for £240 (£500 to £600 in most places) seems to be good images and good price for a HD in reviews, only problem is it uses DVD format to store film and this seems to be difficult to edit.

So i am looking at the Canon HV30 great reviews but can't see it for less than £600. (Too steep) Any suggestions where i may get even a second hand Hv30 or perhaps you could suggest an alternative.

Sorry if i am a bit vague just getting into the whole camcorder amateur movie thing.

    Regards

also do not buy from ebay £550 electronic king uk delivery as also ntsc model, i made offer of £500
which they accepted but fortunatly i mailed them asking to confirm which model i had won before i made the transaction.
i cant find for less than 590 either listed on hv30.co.uk
hr10 will be editable even if you have to use ambiguous conversion software my only gripe is when you check the footage on vimeo its just not in the same league as hv20 hv30 footage
im in the same boat as you looking for deal so if you find one please let me know

Thing is, from the great reviews these cameras get prices are kept high it seems.
