Any deals on chainsaws?

Been trying to tackle the garden in the last few weeks but still need to cut some bigish trees and that down, then cut it into smaller chunks.

Does anyone know of any good deals on chain saws about?

Aldi might still have some in.
I got an electric one from there.
About £50 but they later got petrol ones in.
Good luck.....and be safe.

Just save the dosh and get a bow saw with a good green wood blade.

The missus an' me do voluntary work in the winter season withour local countrside wardens, helping sort out some of the local woodland.

All we ever use is a log saw and loppers.

last time we were thinning out some saplings, to give the rest of the trees a bit of room. I managed 20+ 5" to 6" diameter trees in a couple of hours: Disentangled from the roses & brambles; felled, cut into lengths and stacked, with the thinner branches staked and piled into a dead-hedge.

Summat like this:

Whatever you do, take care. Trees are much bigger when they are falling towards you.

And heavier.
