My thermostat is playing up so thinking of getting a SALUS RT300. Currently my thermostat has a red, blue and yellow cable connected to it and an unshielded cable that just seems to have been buried into the wall so not in use. The wiring for the new one is in the picture so wondering what cable would go where.

Thanks

I've got a Salus RT300 at home.

Are you referring to the receiver wiring? As the thermostat of mine is wireless.

Thanks

Looks like the new thermostat (havent bought it yet) is only a 2 wire model and I currently have 3 wires which I think are (???)

red = permanent live
yellow - switched live
blue = neutral

Guess I need to keep shopping for cheap 3 wire model........................

Its this one and certainly isnt wireless (RT300RF maybe is)

amazon.co.uk/Sal…300

Think I have workd it out now so can get the 2 wire digital salus one

red -> Mains Live

yellow -> Switched Live

Spare cable buried in the wall -> Earth parking

Blue -> will just connect to a connector block and leave inside the thermostat
