Any feedback on Mobicity uk?

Found 29th Jan 2014
Not sure if I'm asking in the right place but has anyone had any dealings with this merchant? I am looking to purchase an item which seems too good a deal to be true so wanted a bit of feedback before I commit to the purchase.

If all goes well I'll obviously post the deal up after.

Seems ok.
i've just used mobicity and the customer advisers are obviously a call centre dealing with multiple companies at the same time, i was talking to one of the advisers on mobicity and then again the same adviser came up on another website selling similar things (i was after a smart watch), they were helpful with the questions i was asking and did answer promptly, but only the questions you ask, it was only when i asked whats the hold up with my device and what was causing the delay and was it stock levels that the answer came back that they had no stock, so this after waiting nearly 3 weeks and paying upfront with the money leaving my account i was a little disappointed, if the website had shown low stock levels or awaiting stock may be i would still have waited because i've ended up cancelling the order and asked for a refund ( which was back in my bank 2 days later ) and bought from amazon at an extra cost of £50. so the item was £50 cheaper with mobicity but the items are not always stock items so check, i would use again but the next time i would ask what are the stock level and delivery using the live chat.
Complete waste of time using mobicity uk
Bought and paid for an item, got an email the next day saying order cancelled, but giving no explanation.
Refused to respond to emails and have taken the money from my account.
Avoid at all costs

trustpilot reviews are pretty damning about them.
Bought an HTC A9 with them, waited 2 weeks and then there was a further delay. I asked for a full refund and it was refunded to me the next. no problem at all.
Batman was only visiting for a day!

They are back advertising on Google, but I would not risk losing my money abroad with them.
Scam! Should get my phone within few working days, after 10 days I have sent email and did not get any response. Tried calling customers service, always aswering machine. After 3 weeks I got silly email that they don't have the colour I wanted, replied I want refund and no response again. Thankfully I paid with credit card and my bank (in UK) got my money back by Chargeback. It works with debit cards too! Horrible company, do not order anything! Thiefs!
Do not have anything to do with this so called company. Complete scam artists. They lie and mislead the customer and your goods do not arrive. I tried to buy a smart watch from them and the **** and waste of time call centre that have operatives who have a very bad grasp of English fob you off at every turn. I shall be in contact with my bank as soon as I finish this
bought a phone through mobicity website, they take payment immediatley. 10 days later - nothing. emailed them and no response. emailed again at 15 days after purchase, no response. Finally got though on the phone asking to cancel order. They said would email me back. They did (would you believe it) saying item is out of stock and I have to contact them with what I want to do. Have spent 30min on their 'online chat' and 20min waiting on the phone, just to demand my money back. Still waiting to get through now... but my advise - avoid.
