I have heard of pinaple juice with olive oil.

Also beer, but not a fan of that.

I'd assume he'd already been, one would hope so anyway hehe

ive had them,it then got stuck in my uretha and made me feel like i needed to pee 24-7 it was horrible
the docs wouldnt do anything as i was pregnant so i drank gallons of water and within a couple of days i peed it out.weird looking things!it was like a glittery stone lol

lithotripsy was the treatment i had at first, it is not pain free much as they pretend it is, after a while it feels like a hammer hitting you in the kidneys, I must have had this treatment 40 times!

i also had them attempt to grab the stones out, with varying success

eventually after all the above, they finally went away (god, hope they dont come back!)

Ive had these and the flipping hospital just gave painkillers no treatment! I was in agony they just gave me lots of painkillers morphine etc.

Most eventually pass on their own, just painful while you're waiting!

Why don't you go to a doctor to get proper medical advice? Also why does it have to be natural remedy?

now what surprise would that be..........

I wish. Or do I.

Yep as I said someone told me natural way was a strong juice like pinapple and pure olive oil, as it is the only thing to get in them and shatter then.

Pain doesn't bother me in the sense on no it's pain, it's just stoping me from doing work. Oh and it is annoying.

The first few stones were. :w00t:

try lemon juice and soda water or milk and soda water, otherwise see gp get him to prescribe pethidine tablets, abso fab for pain relief especially kidney stones,

I know how the OP feels, just wants to do anything to help the process along. As far as i heard, alcohol makes you dehydrated, which is bad for the stones. I did ask this of my specialist at the time, wasnt really much he could add except making sure i was hydrated (6 glasses a day? i do that before breakfast!). Best of luck that you get sorted fast!

Yeah the pethidine injections were helpful, not tried the tablets but i guess they are more or less the same

Most stones can be treated without surgery. If you drink a lot of water (two and a half to three litres per day) and stay physically active, this is often enough to remove stones smaller than about 5mm from your body. Your GP may then prescribe medicines to reduce the pain.

Your GP may ask you to catch the kidney stone by passing your urine through filter paper or a tea strainer.

Always wash the tea strainer after use, or it makes the tea taste funny

Yep, I have just tried the lemon and olive oil trick :O See how this goes to move the smaller fragments. It was rank.

cranberry juice and plenty of it. Have passed two. The pain is immense. Peeing blood, sweating profusely, dont want any more

A family member of mine has em sometimes, says lemon juice does the trick. He gets about 20 lemons, makes juice. Drinks it (very bitter), then has it diluted with water about every hour, not eating

Not had much pain, just from the stent, obviously thats holding back the major stone.

Sorry you have not been well, do yourself a favour and don't make yourself feel even worse (lemons...olive oil). You have treatment planned already. You might pass some stones but not because of anything you eat, pure coincidence. (The stone is in your urogenital system and not your digestive tract).

20 lemons, great way to cause gastric problems on top of everything else, as if you are not feeling bad enough. Plenty of simple fluids, cranberry makes no difference. Good luck

Only do it once. N he said the lemon juice disolves the stone, better than having to go to the hospital all the time. he also drinks plenty of fluids n that didnt help him

20 lemons = lithotripsy.........yeah :-D

Could revolutionise NHS budgets, forget the physics....lemons solve the problem and of course have no side effects
