Why dont you just speak with your bank for an overdraft? Probably be free for that amount

provident start with small loans but charge HUGE interest

can you not borrow from friend/family?

    DO NOT GO TO PROVIDENT.

it might be tempting, but the apr is like 100 if not more

Agree with woz, ask the bank for a OD for such a small loan.

Try looking to see if there is a local credit union, interest is 1% per month and no penalties for paying up early, in fact if you do then you pay less interest overall, no credit checks but you need to commit to paying in a set amount for 8 weeks or more a regular amount, only need be a tenner, but you can then borrow double what you have in savings with them at a repayment rate to suit your budget. I use them for emergency needs.

Borrowing from your credit union is great value. Most credit unions … Borrowing from your credit union is great value. Most credit unions loans will cost you no more than 1% a month on the reducing balance of the loan (an APR of 12.7%). What this means for example is that if you borrowed £1000 over 1 year, you would repay no more than £1067 in total.

     .......

Every rejection is a black mark against any future credit....so you've no chance :whistling:

I'd use PayDayUK and Quidco.... they don't do credit checks and you won't lose any money if you only get £80.
