Any ideas for birthday presents for my daughter soon to be 1

My daughter will soon be 1 in just over a months time and looking for some ideas for her.

Any recommendations you can give me will be gratefully received.

She has fallen heir to alot of my first daughters old toys but would like to get her some of her own toys.

    Thanks

just don't get her much. Just get her a few bits and bobs and wrap it up in lots of paper. the wrapping paper alone will give her hours of enjoyment

An empty cardboard box and some newspaper.

For my daughters 1st b'day we got her Vtech baby walker. They very sturdy and they have an activity panel which can also clip off the front.

Yeh, I know what you mean, she'll probably be happier with the boxes and paper than the toys themselves and no doubt everything will go in her mouth.

    Is the daughter a hampster?

Also just the 1 gift will do,as they are very overwhelmed by it all,the cake the candles and everything.

Honestly this is the best advise you will be given all night its not worth buying a 1yr old child to much wrapping paper and boxes will do the trick at this age.

mine always like playing with the paper and box when they was little

Bath time toys are a good buy at this age.

These are good,my friend had 1 for her boy,I don't know what else to suggest cos I'm a bit out with baby toys as my youngest is 5 now.

I find outdoor toys are great - less clutter in your house.
car bike, ball pool or paddling pool seasaw, play house. the list is endless.

I bought my daughter a tunnel for her 1st birthday she loved it.

they groww up really fast dont buy baby toys if you already have loads from your other child

hhehe then get two people to sit either end of the tunnel and block them inside the tunnel!
Then watch as little one freaks out!...:p They then grow up claustraphobic!

    * only joking mind ive not actually done this honest*
Infact i reckon it must have been done to me!

open a bank account and ut money in for her

My 6yr old still plays with his rubber seals in the bath!
Admittedy he plays with them so he can squirt water at me!
But hey, nothing better than hearing your kids belly laughing!
