2 years old is not brand new.
even with little use it will possibly need new batteries soon. Internet is not the main place the majority of older people frequent and are defiantly not savvy or trusting at purchasing this way. You may be better selling it to a mobility shop or trying a car boot..

Ask if you can put a card in your local post office window. Probably the best way to get older folks attention.

The scooter has never been used. The battery and other parts are still wrapped. Its been stored and never used. No different to stock sat in warehouses to be despatched just this aint dusty... so it is brand new. Not even asking full price for it...

Local community centre boards - hospital community boards if available? Would your GP surgery allow you to put an ad on their notice board? Age concern or other charitable organisations?

Good luck. My dad pàid £2500 for his brand new. He did 4 miles on it and I got £800 on eBay. Took me ages to get rid of it and I started it at £1500. Absolutely mint. Sold it to a guy who takes them abroad.

You can get these brand new on ebay, direct from the manufacturer for £900 with a years warranty. Second hand even if its never been used, what are you asking for it?

Good price and one I would hold out for. Have you tried a BIN on EBay, I would list at £550 and with a good description and pictures it will hold up well against others listed. A set of batteries new are around the £120 mark so you shouldn't have any problems.

The only down side is the lack of warranty, Personally it would not bother me, I have had 4 to date (various makes/models) and touch wood have never had to make a claim other then a faulty new one.

Gumtree. Batteries usually die if not charged for over 6 months (I sold mobility scooters once upon a time).

Good reply haha. Not heard anything so assume he got there ok. I pleaded with my dad not to buy one and use the money for taxes. He used it twice and had 4 miles on the clock when I sold it. Absolutely mint and batteries still held 98% charge after being stood for 6 months.

Have you got a local area web site for buy & sale, I bought one last week from a local site, I find they sale very quickly.
They seem to get one every couple of days, and seem to sale straight away. I bought mine when it had only been advertised 9 hours.
