Didn't realise winamp could do it

Any plugins needed or is it just the same as dragging/dropping using a different mp3 player in winamp?

yeah winamp does it fine. just add the media to the library and drag it onto the ipod listed down the left hand side. Don't think there are any plug-ins needed, I had version 5 and I didn't need any anyway. as long as you have the latest one im sure it will be fine.

what the difference between dragging songs into winamp or dragging them into itunes?
    i never really understand that.

getsongbird.com/ has been getting pretty good coverage recently

dragging in winamp is easy, it doesn't need to be synced so the ipod can be used as a old school mp3 player, just drag whatever music onto it you like and your done. You don't have to keep it all in one place.

I haven't used itunes for a while, but i don't think itunes lets you drag music onto it. maybe someone could let us know!?

I open itunes, wait for my ipod to load up, then i can see my music and i just drag anything new into that window and it copies it over... I don't see the difference? I don't have to sync anything, it just copies the files over, which is what happens when you drag and drop anyway.

There is always ]MediaMonkey have not used it for sometime, but it seems many still swear by it!
