Any recommendations for learning Photoshop ?

My daughter needs to learn Photoshop for a new job next year.

Can anyone recommend any books, dvd's, online course's etc that they've used and found work.

Price doesn't matter, it just needs to be a good structured course that'll take her from starting out to a reasonable level...

Pretty easy to use really for basic stuff, for more info try tutorials on you tube?

Adobe Photoshop CSxx Classroom in A Book

the official adobe training course, have the dreamweaver, photoshop and after effects version, very helpful.

but as Manj says, for quick quides you can't beat youtube, especially if you an first timer and you wont know the commands or where to find them etc.

    Try the 'for dummies' books.

    They're pretty helpful.

Martin Evening has produced some of the classic reference tutorials. I can highly recommend any of the Adobe Photoshop for Photographers series. Whilst it's geared towards the photographer, it teaches skills and knowledge that can be applied in all areas. Check out the reviews on amazon etc.
