Any way to seal off a Cat flap?

Hi,

We have a cat flap which we don't need (Staywell 17) and I want to block it off due to the drafts, can you get blanking plates to seal the draft?

I don't want to replaced the bottom half of the door, but fill the hole on either side.

Any ideas, other than cutting out and stick some board in myself? Is there any inserts for the staywell that I can use?

Thanks

Is it a uPVC door, if so a replacement panel would only cost about £20 and is easy to do. Or remove cat flap, get a couple of smaller pieces of uPVC and superglue on to either side of door.

Get a UPVC door or put a bit of wood over it and screw it in.

Silicon seal it?

By far the neatest, cheapest and easiest option.
