There are some reviews at Tripadvisor ]here

Marmaris is a great place to go, where abouts is hotel romance? Is it near beach or up top somewhere? Best piece of advice for going there is to haggle with everything, you will always get things cheaper!

my mum and some other family members have been there a few times and loved it thats why they keep going back!

Oh yeah i think thats a really nice hotel if im thinking right, you should defintely try that water park. You should also try a boat trip, they are always quite cheap and you get dinner on the boat and some of your drinks. How many of you are going?

just me an my OH, we needed a quick holiday and booked it from thomas cook last minute deals i will be trying most things out there as im quite adverturous, couldn't say the same about the OH but she will try a few things lol

Thanks for your help buddy, if you have anything greater to say about this place, will consider adding more rep

Well i cant think of much at the min, well ill say what i tried and see if you want to try it.

Quad Safari - Just flying round a bit dirt track on a quad bike, a lot of fun but you get really really dirty after it. Definately worth it tho!
Jet Ski - Very good, a lot of fun but the one we went on was fairly expensive for the time you get on it, the guy takes some good pictures of you when your on it though and the cd with them on are very cheap/
Rings & Banana boats - Both really good and normally very cheap. Ringos are a lot more fun and you get a lot more time on them, you dont get that long on banana boats really but they are good.
Boat trips are always good, id definately recommend one or two of these.
Water Park - I dont remember the price but I know we got a good deal when we booked it with the boat trip, they usually give discounts when you buy a few excursions off the same seller! You get transport included to and from the water park which is always good! Not too many slides in the water park but definately a good day out.
Finally, if your going shopping for clothes etc. I found the best places were the ones near the big posh shopping centre near the beach, i dont remember the porper name of it.
If you wanna know anything else just let me know.

Not sure how far away Bodrum is but there's a nightclub on a catamaran!!
"It's got a glass bottom, several bars and a frequent water taxi service that runs to and from shore. You can spend an entire evening listening and dancing to some of the freshest tunes from around the world"

went to marmaris when i was at university.. its a VERY touristy place with a lot of local pervs about-lol. ok- dont shoot me down, they're not ALL pervs- but between us we had a few marriage proposals from ppl we barely knew! saying that, you'll see A LOT of older women gallavanting about with the young turks, and if buying something from the stalls, youll have to haggle big-time (used to be lira's when we went- is it euro now? pricey..) it's definately not upmarket, though in the evenings the wotsit walking area by the sea (promenade?-cant remember the terminology) was really lively. the locals are really very friendly, though be warned, all the cheesey foods like pizza are made using goats cheese. alright if u like it, but oh so smelly(!) we were not as 'cultured' so anything bar cheddar/ cow cheese made us boak. the salt wotist in ]pamukkale were fab - bit of a coach trip, but that excursion also took us to fetiye (sp) and a carpet factory. carpet factory visit is quite boring actually.. but overall, though it may not sound like it, i had a fab time, and it was a really fun place to go. just found ]this on net, may be of help

edt. we were woken up every morning by fellow tourists (also from england, i'm sure) with music blasting from their sound system as they 'relaxed' by the pool in next door hotel. the song was, 'i'm horny...horny, horny, horney' (said 'horneh) awful awful awful! still laugh abt it..(just thought i'd add this bit of info in too, as i was on a roll..)
