ANYBODY ELSE EXPERIENCED THE FIASCO OF CDISCOUNT SO CALLED HELPLINE FOR RETURNS & PROBLEMS?

cdiscount returns system has to be the worst i have ever come across.

i ordered a wardrobe and matching bedroom furniture. the wardrobe was completely useless all the fittings were missing. called cdiscount held for ages, spoke to somebody said they would contact manufacturer, and call us back about replacement bits being sent that day which was fine at that point for me.
any way long story short nobody called, eventually they arranged for home delivery to collect ,first i was told i would get a replacement, then after a couple of calls told no they dont do replacemens i would have a refund within the week, and i could reorder (which i am definately not interested in doing now). well we are now past 1 and 2 weeks later, and after several calls to their customer services i still dont have a refund just a phone bill with 15 pounds worth of calls to their helpline.

i have ordered alot since xmas nearly 1300 pounds worth of stuff. as i was really impressed good value the option of 3pay. but sacrificing customer service for price is ok aslong as no problems, now on i think id rather pay a little bit more for the assurance of dealing with a better company. iI you dont experience problems with any of your orders they are fine but if problems arise be prepared for alot of chasing and vague answers. phone calls are expensive not the local rate as my phone bill shows. you can email them but they dont reply for a while and then are not much help in my opinion.

i am also still awaiting a refund on another item i returned.
they also took out additional payments on the 3discount scheme. so watch out for this and double check everything. they did rectify this but just double check your bank statements,

also i have had to return two electrical items to manufacturer a printer and sat nav system (which even though is past 14 days only been used twicw as not exactly an item i use everyday) as they were faulty after the 14 days cdiscount give you to return items, which was a complete hassle.
most places return the items and replace if faults occur. i think 14 days cut off for items to become faulty is silly. (argos sorry i left you, i will be bringing my custom back)

i seem to have a bee in my bonnet and need to let off some steam as cdiscount dont seem to care what happens to our products or money once they have got it.

anybody else experienced this and if so has it been resolved?
dont know if this is posted in the right place, but i am sure somebody will tell me off in the wrong place

dear cdiscount,
very quick response to my post, i have now contacted you via email and anticipate a speedy reply.
i have not called the team as I SEEM TO BE GETTING NOWHERE WITH THEM as stated in my message. I seem to get no answers to my querys and the cost is excessive to keep calling. please could a response be as quick to my most recent email as it was to my post?
regards
emma

oh dear i spoke too soon 2 weeks on and still waiting for the refund to be credited to bank account.
have emailed and called the customer services few times to be told it should be in my bank account by now but they do not have any further info. (the notes on their screens say a refund has been issued).
twice i have been told in the last week somebody will call to tell me what is going on. but no calls.
very dissappointing cdiscount.
oh and my phone bill is now totalling nearer 20 punds for calls to the customer services. i am not with bt who charge no more than 5p a minute as i was told in an email by cdiscount, but with virgin media home telephone service and their charges are higher to these numbers.

on the 30th march i was given a 20 pound credit code added to my cdiscount account along with the managers assurance he would contact finance and that my refund will be issued immidiately. what i really wanted is for the cash refund amount for the wardrobe to be put into my bank account, nothing more nothing less, i just wanted it sorted it has been such a long time waiting and chasing.

will keep posted.
anybody else experience same probs?
