Three have announced the end of my £8.32/month tariff with Go Roam, and EE are a better option. I've tried to get a PAC by SMS, but just got a reply "Oops, we can't process your request at the moment due to a systems issue."
The online chat buttons don't work, the "request a PAC" form asks me to enter a security code that they text to me but then doesn't enable the submit button when I enter it, and 333 say they can't read a PAC out to me over the phone and I'll just have to wait until it turns up.
If it turns up.
I'm wondering if anybody else has had problems? It feels like an attempt at making it hard to leave, but if it's been working recently, it could be the transient error they claim it is — they've just been so lousy recently, that I wouldn't be at all surprised to find it's a deliberate way of stonewalling customers (just as you have to listen to an advert for the latest Samsung phone in order to get through to someone when you choose the "thinking of leaving" path!)

sorted bywith 3 certain accounts can sometimes get "stuck" requested PAC Codes. They would have had to raised something internally to get this pushed through (ex employee)

That just span at me for a minute and then said there was an error when I tried it the other day, but it does seem to have unstuck now. Apparently now that somebody's told them about the problem, they've fixed it
Yes, that's what came up with the systems issue message.
Three's PAC-from-SMS-request procedure requires account-holder DoB to be stated.
"...We can send it to you – all you need to do is text ‘PAC’ and your date of birth (DDMMYY) to 65075.
For example: PAC 071281 "
