hi there, you londeners. my family and i traveled to london for a short break recently and my children fell in love with it as did we. However when i was on the standstead express, leaving standstead, we noticed at tottnum hale station, a travelodge, perhaps premier inn within 150 yards of tottnum hale station. could anybody confirm for me that there is a travelodge or premier inn at that station and whats the name i would book it under.
i know this sounds like a daft request. ive been on to loads of web sites and made loads of phone calls and nobody can help me. i d love to go back to london, could you please help me. if you need info about visiting scotland, particulary the islands, im happy to help. thanks so much
tracey

Can't help I'm afraid but just wanted to post to agree with you about london, I went a couple of weeks ago and loved it too even though people tried to fill me full of stories about how rude londoners are etc that wasn't the case at all and I can't wait to go back

Hope someone can help you

does it have to be these two hotels?

You have been talking to too many Londoners.. it is Tottenham Hale

There is a big Premier Inn just off the M25 at Innova Park or a Holiday Inn Express at Chingford (near Walthamstow Dogs Stadium)

why do you want to stay near Tottenham Hale it is not a very nice area - i should know i lived in Edmonton most of my life

i suppose if the hotel costs at TH are cheaper, plus it's a direct victoria line to central london.

Unsure if the Stansted Express line goes through Harlow Mill. If it does there is a Premier Inn a short way from the station.

Harlows not far from stanstead but the express train may not stop there. You might need to take a slow train. I am sure there will be someone who works with transport who may be able to advise. Good luck

i prefer her version over the others. it's chilled out and captures the spirit of london sunset (i always think as i'm walking on the bridge over from chairing cross to south bank at sunset; unless i am in a hurry i usually pause halfway to enjoy the skyline as i face st pauls).
