Anybody use Rescuemycar.com

Hi All,
has anybody used the online only company rescuemycar.com
I have had a quote from them for £42 instead of £124 with RAC As you can imagine i wonder how something so cheap can be any good.
Thanks

A quick check on google brought this up.
RescueMyCar.com, a web-based service, tops the tables for the cheapest breakdown cover, charging just £31 a year. However, the policy is littered with exclusions, the main one being that every callout is subject to a £40 excess. So if you have three callouts a year you will pay a total of £151 - much more than all the other providers charge. The cover also excludes parts needed to fix your vehicle, running out of petrol and more than six callouts each year.

As has been said so often before, when choosing breakdown insurance you should consider AutoAid (do a Google).

£37 a year covers you and your spouse while driving any car.

Equivalent cover costs megabucks at RAC or AA.

Strongly recommended at MoneySavingExpert.com. Have a look there at the many positive comments.

AutoAid calls out a garage (or you can do this, if you prefer). You pay the garage then claim back from AutoAid, who send you a cheque remarkably quickly.

Like I say, checkout the many satisfied customers at MSE.
