Anyone applied for a nationwide flex account online?

Hey was wondering if anyone could shed some light on this. I started to apply online for a nationwide account, it said I had to register first, so I typed in my memorable dates etc, and then started to apply for a flex account. Half way through I had to stop because I didn't have the info next to me, it then said it had saved my application and that I could return at any time to complete it, but I have no idea how to do this! When I try to log in it asks for a customer number, pass code etc but I don't have one! Do they send this number in the post?

I applied online for my account, but dont have any experience of what you've done.

Did it not give you a reference number to return to?

If not, it may be best to start over.

Nop, seems kind of odd that it would let me start to apply for a flex account, but now I have no idea how to continue with it. My only concern with starting over is they might have two sets of detials registered then, and that might cause issues. Also since you applied online, how long did it take for you to receive your debit card if you don't mind me asking.

I don't think it would cause any probs doing it all over again, as they haven't completed the application.

Think it took about 10 days.

Ha been denied a debit card! Well the few times I finished the application it only offered me a cash card, so I just cancelled it (phoned up and the guy said it was because of my credit rating-what a load of rubbish!). I'm going to visit a branch tomorrow and ask for one there, my parents have savers accounts with nationwide so that may sway them in my favour. If not I'll just open a joint account with one of my parents as that will guarantee me one.
