Stayed very close to Santa Susana in a place called Callea and it is still one of the best Spanish holidays we've had.I think Santa Susanna is Callea's next door neighbour and i'm sure we actually walked from our resort to Santa Susana ,no i tell a lie we got on one of those little trains that run every so often and spent a few hours there and it's pretty much the same as Callea,so it should be ok.Quiet, not overcrowded place.Have fun after all a holiday is what you make it,but in my opinion it is a very good place to soak up the sun

Me and my family have just come home from Callea as above best spanish holiday me and the family have had far better than benidorm ( IMO ) .

Santa Susana is only 2 stops on the train from callea 17 stops from barcelona .

Costs about £5 return to barcelona takes 1 hr from Sanata Susaa all along the coast excellent views and all the trains are air conditioned ,but be away not many people in barcelona speak english and make sure you don`t get on the wrong train like we did .

lorett da mar is only 15-20 mins away on train as well you will need to take a train to blanes then its a free bus ride to centre of lorett....mini blaclpool

as for Euro`s its about 140-142 over there in alot of places never get your cash changed in hotel .

Try Water World and barcelona zoo

On Wednesday I changed my €'s at the Post office and IMO got a right good deal. The Bureau DE Change on the Ferry offered me a lower exchange rate. Both claim to be commission free but offer different exchange rates to compensate, imo.
