Do you mean the Thomas Land that is part of Drayton Manor park (there are others around including one in Japan)?

I took two young children there in the summer.

It has been very well built and themed by Drayton Manor, and there are about 7 or 8 rides in there, but the rides are quite small and when the park is busy there can be long queues and the children can get bored.

We went on a council election day on a Thursday and so some school were shut, which meant Thomas Land was not that busy, but a summer weekend can be very busy.

Looked round the shop which was fairly big but not huge I seem to remember.

The park open for the period leading up to Christmas, but only the Thomas Land part, not the whole park

Don't think it's big enough to visit on it's own whilst the rest of the park is shut.

Deff reccomend to go when the park is open, as above they have spent a lot on it but it does get busy.

Shop isn't that big.

Yup, went this summer, my little one (2 and a half then) loved it. If i remember correctly we were in that bit for about an hour (including queues - not too bad). The zoo was **** as most of it was shut. Thomas land was probably the best bit!

If he loves Thomas then he will love Thomas Land.

The look on a kids face when they first see a "real" Thomas is wonderful and can bring a tear to your eye.

There are other parts of the park open like the Zoo and the farm and the play area (but not the big rides) and it does seem a bit expensive for just that, but hey it is Christmas and your son will love it.

I only really get to see him once a week. So i try to make the time i get with him as special as i can.
But its hard finding that balance because i dont want to make any problems for his mother.
