since this handset is exculsive to cpw group. i would like to know, do they supply generic handsets or network depending ones?

for example, on orange, normally you will get the sim locked orange branded handset (with orange logo printed) and packages.

many thanks.

ive noticed that carphone warehouse phones 99% of the time come unlocked if thats what your asking

my gf's mate brought one of the v3 pink's from cpw and it was unlocked

and it was virgin branded yes but you can buy software to unbrand a handset and all you need is the software + the usb data cable that comes with the handset

i brought this software for 13.99 and it added video recorder 2mb of mem and de-branded the phone not bad for £13.99 a

thank you dub1.

network lock or branded software are not too much a problem, because unlocking and software upgrade is only a few quid, of course better to be generic unlocked.

what i really concern, is that is there a network logo printed on the handset, because this is most annoying me. also would be nice if it comes with generic package rather than network branded.

i just prefer generic.

well her handset was not branded and changing the software is real easy the software i use removes all the bits networks add (wap settinsg etc) and adds the simfree software and adds the video recorder etc on the v3

thanks dub1 for your information.

i have always think the exculsive v3 pink and blue cpw's got have to be generic. because no one else have got it to brand them.

so i started this thread trying to confirm from people who has got their's, and am very glad to say, i have just got a v3 blue from osps on orange, which is completely generic.

Hi, I got a pink V3 on orange from e2save about a month ago. It arrived totally sim free and with no branding.
